The Ducato has been designed to offer maximum comfort and power at minimum operating costs from the styling of the body that exalts the vehicle’s functional characteristics, to the wide, luminous cab, offering car-like comfort, not to mention its appreciable loading capacity.

The loading capacity of the Ducato is at the apex of this vehicle class, with a payload of up to 2000 kg and a maximum volume of 17 m³; consisting of record-setting interior dimensions (4.1 m long and 1870 mm wide) together with great accessibility and outstanding ease of loading; it makes the Ducato into an untiring workmate.  The low loading threshold at rear, only 53 cm from the ground, can be reduced further thanks to the innovative self-levelling suspension, down to 46 cm – another record in this class.

With three new Multijet 16 valve Common Rail engines featuring electronically managed high pressure injection and power output ranging from the 100 bhp of the 2.2 to the 120 bhp of the 2.3, up to the 157 bhp of the 3.0 Power.  All the engines are clean and environment-friendly (Euro 4), are mated to new 5- and 6-speed gearboxes and deliver high torque at low revs (250 to 400 Nm), for sparkling pickup, great driving pleasure, optimal comfort and, first and foremost, fuel economy.

Ducato’s high safety standards have been improved even further with 20 thousand hours of structural design work, 120 crash tests, hundreds of tests on components and subassemblies: the figures speak for themselves.
